Bear Creek Stables is on a mission to promote the Tennessee Walking Horse and get others as enthusiastic as we are. We are very excited about the Walking horse and the "Glide Ride".

     We had the "Other Breed" up until about 11 years ago. When we rode our first Tennessee Walker, within 4 months, we had 3 mares and our first stallion "Shadow's Man of Pride" who this site is dedicated to. He has since passed on to greener pastures.

    We do a lot of trail riding and find Walkers with their gentle nature, Cadillac gait, sure footedness and stamina to be the perfect companion for this rugged part of the country.  

    So stop by and go for a glide ride anytime you are in our area.
